for my futures project I am to be creating a written report on a topic of my choice, which will eventually lead to a game proposal. I have recently been spending my time preparing for this by trying to find a subject to look into.

After recent discussions with my tutor Ben, I have come to the choice of following the Survival Horror Genre. I will be looking at this as a topic to see how the genre has evolved from none-existent, to small sub-genre before becoming a popular genre within the industry.

This is a genre that has had its ups and downs, but when done properly has been very popular within the games industry.
